What will this celebration feel like...

    • to some it might feel like a wedding

    • to some it might feel like a birthday party

    • to some it might feel like a memorial/wake

    • to some it might feel like a celebration

    • to some it might feel like spending time with friends and family and getting to know them.

    • It may feel like a little of each of these to some too, and that's ok.

What to wear...

    • Something you'll feel conformable in for the weather forecast for the celebration, please note that the celebration will be entirely outdoors.

    • What you'd typically wear to a 5-star restaurant on date night.

    • Immediate family are REQUIRED to dress in their best for family photo hour.

What to bring...

    • bring yourself

    • bring a guest (please make sure to RSVP them as well)

    • your willingness to sit with people you don't know. We will be actively encouraging anyone attending to be seated with relatives/friends of the opposite family for dinner.

    • Your camera, we will ask that any pictures or videos of this celebration be uploaded to this site. We respectfully ask that photos and videos of the celebration not be shared to social media.

    • Your appetite.

    • If you've indicated that you'll be bringing an appetizer for Hors d'eouvre hour, be sure to remember to bring that. If your item needs to be kept warm, please also bring any necessary crock pots. Sign Up Here or View Appetizers

    • There may be bugs, after all were outdoors, so bug spray may be warranted.

What not to bring...

    • Gifts are not expected

      • Consider sending cards/flowers in the years to come instead

    • A full stomach

    • Pets or animals (unless an seeing eye dog, in the event you would be bringing a seeing eye dog please let the hosts know this ahead of time)

    • Alcohol; Alcohol will NOT be provided or tolerated.

    • Ladies we recommend leaving your stilettos at home.

    • Your unwillingness to accept this celebration at face value as it's intended purpose (as uniquely different it may be)

Food Expectations...

    • Appetizers for Hors d'eouvre hour being provided by everyone who's volunteered to provide a dish. Sign Up here

    • The main meal will be provided by Southbound BBQ Company.

      • Please be sure to select your main entree and side dishes on the RSVP form so that our waitstaff can properly prepare your delicious meal.

    • Cake- provided by The Master's Baker

      • If you need your share of cake to be dairy free please indicate this on the RSVP dietary information section so we can size the dairy free section of the cake accordingly.

I'd Like to Help Make the Celebration Magical...

Anyone willing to help, we'd take what ever help you can offer. Some potential ways in which to help:

  • Landscaping... in the weeks/months leading up to the celebration any help sprucing up the flower beds would be greatly appreciated, mulching, weeding, making sure the flowers are alive.

  • Setting up the tables & chairs

  • Decorating

  • Games Setup & Creation

  • Floral & Center Piece Arrangement

  • I'm sure there's many more ways that we haven't thought of yet...
